About Sunflower Gardening
Sunflower offers nature-friendly, attractive garden maintenance. Run by Liza McCarthy, Sunflower’s process is to get to know you and your garden and work closely with you to maintain and grow a garden you’ll love.
Areas of work: northern Westchester, including Croton, Cortlandt, Ossining. Putnam and sometimes Dutchess Counties.

Garden clean-up and maintaining. Whatever your style, I and my small team can help your garden stay pretty and healthy. Half- or full days in 2026. Sunflower also works on invasive-plant removal plans.
New gardens. As we work together, ideas usually emerge — we can work then on ideas for plants, new installations, and much more … but I focus on garden maintenance not on design.
I like the serendipity of this combination of maidenhair fern, which is frilly, with thorny pink roses.
